MATER DEI ALTAR SERVER PROGRAM—In June 2023 a parent advisory team was formed by Jeff Zyzda and Fr. Mark to work to develop our Altar Server program. Part of this development is the formation of Altar Server Teams who will be to function on the weekend of February 2/3. These teams include three [3] or more Altar Servers who will receive ongoing training and formation, the assignment of adult coaches who may “suit up and serve” with the Team, and the reintroduction of Processional and Gospel Candles.
