Confirmation Preparation at Mater Dei ParishConfirmation preparation begins for most candidates in our parish upon entry into seventh grade. Older students needing confirmation are encouraged to enter formation as well. Typically our candidates will be confirmed in late September or early October of their eighth grade year.
Classes are held most Wednesdays of the academic year. Students with a poor attendance record will be asked to attend a second year before being confirmed.
Parent and sponsor involvement is expected, with at least one parent attending at least one class with their child during the course of the year.
