Corpus Christi Procession Logo Contest Details (downloadable)

YOU are invited to design the t-shirt logo for the 2025 Corpus Christi Procession! Entries due April 4 at 2:30 p.m.!
 
GUIDELINES AND SPECIFICATIONS
 
ELIGIBILITY

• Current Mater Dei Parish families
• Current individuals and/or families enrolled in Mater Dei’s 2024-2025 OCIA Program.  
• Current Mater Dei Parish College Youth Bible Study students, college youth volunteers, and Siouxland Youth Group members

• Original 2-D artwork, using the media of your choice.
• Created by one or more individuals in your family or group (i.e.: 1^st Communicants, Siouxland Youth Group, etc.) 
• If more than one individual wish to enter as an individual versus as a group from your family or organization, separate entries are required. 
• Entries will not be accepted on “lined” paper unless it is part of the design.   

• The artwork cannot be larger than smaller than 12” wide by 12” tall. 
• The artwork must be created using only one or two colors. 

• A Consent to Release Information Form must be submitted with the design signed by entrant. 
• If the entrant is under the age of 18, the form must be signed by the parents/guardians. If an organization is submitting artwork, the consent to release form must be signed by the moderator.

• Entries are due in the Mater Dei Parish Office, located at Immaculate Conception Church, 1212 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, Iowa) by 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4.
• A committee will narrow down the entries to the Top 25.
• During Holy Week (April 14-18), the public can vote in the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall for their favorite design from the Top 25. Only one vote per person.
• The Top 10 entries will advance to the final judging (the names of the artists will be hidden) by Father Brad, Father Peter, and the Senior Leadership Team by Friday, April 25.
• The winning entry will be announced on Tuesday, April 29, after the 8 a.m. Mass. The winning entry will be featured on this year’s Corpus Christi Procession t-shirt receive a complimentary t-shirt. 
• Pre-paid youth and adult t-shirt orders featuring this year's winning design will be taken Tuesday, April 29, to Wednesday, May 14.  
• T-shirts will be available for pick up June 16-20 at the Mater Dei Parish Office.
• T-shirts are encouraged to be worn during the Mater Dei Corpus Christi Procession on Sunday, June 22.
